Cello ensemble afternoons are for adult and teen cello students who would like to have a fun-filled afternoon making music with like-minded people. The music is arranged to cater for ability levels of preliminary (1st position with no extensions) and upwards, yet will musically challenge all participants. A short refreshment break will allow participants to meet and get to know each other. At the end, we perform the pieces we have worked on to family and friends.

The last ensemble afternoon was held on Saturday 5 September from 2pm-4.30pm in Ainslie. It was a great success!

The next ensemble afternoon is being planned for January, but may be a little different. Instead of just one afternoon, we may have two or three shorter rehearsals with a concert after the last one. Stay tuned for more information!

The afternoon costs $70 for adults or $50 concession (students, pensioners etc). The cost includes all music, basic afternoon tea, venue hire and audience entry (for family and friends).

Music will be given to participants prior to the afternoon to allow for practise before the day.
